As oncology research and treatment are constantly evolving, staying current with advances in the field of lung cancer is a significant challenge for community-based oncologists. With the recent application of targeted agents for the treatment of lung cancer, new regimens have been introduced and previously unseen toxicities have become commonplace. In addition, numerous clinical trials have been dedicated to defining the optimal chemotherapy regimens for all patient populations, including the various disease stages.
These certified CME/CE accredited replays of presentations from two live conferences held October, 2007, offer unique opportunities for community-based oncologists and other cancer care providers to rapidly acquire knowledge of the most optimal care of non-small cell lung cancer patients. A diverse group of community-based and academic lung cancer experts present the latest information on novel treatments of non-small cell lung cancer. Discussions focus on the immediate clinical integration of these treatments in the community setting where most cancer patients are treated. Participants will take away practical information to assist in delivering the most effective cancer-fighting strategies for their patients.
