Advancing Today’s Knowledge on
Gaucher Disease

Diagnosis of Gaucher Disease is often delayed as a result of non-specific presenting symptoms and a lack of familiarity among clinicians of this rare disease. Importantly, delays have severe consequences in disease progression. New research findings indicate an increased risk of cancer incidence in Gaucher Disease patients, further complicating diagnosis and management. This accredited CME/CE webcast is designed to educate community-based hematology/oncology physicians, nurses, midlevel practitioners, pharmacists and other interested healthcare professionals on the most current recommendations and strategies for early diagnosis and appropriate management of Gaucher Disease. The program provides a clinical overview of Gaucher Disease, a review of the latest patient diagnostic techniques, management and treatment strategies to reach therapeutic goals and advice on utilizing key resources available for optimal patient care. Expert faculty will also present case studies to address significant diagnostic and treatment issues.
