Dr. Kartik Konduri is an attending physician at the Sammons Cancer Center-Thoracic Oncology Research Section of Baylor University Medical Center where he specializes in lung cancer and head and neck cancers. He is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. After receiving his medical degree from the Medical School University of Delhi in 1993, Dr. Konduri completed and internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He then moved on to finish a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Baylor University Medical Center in 2003. Currently, he is the primary investigator on two different clinical trials addressing therapies for small cell and non-small cell lung cancer. Dr. Konduri is a member of several committees including the Baylor Cancer Center Development Committee, the Texas Oncology Research Committee, and the US Oncology Lung Cancer Research Committee. In addition to his publications, Dr. Konduri has received several awards for his research, including the Young Investigator Award from the 3rd International Workshop on Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia.
